What is The Stark Distinction? Well, my friend, Sylvia refers to
it as experiencing life effortlessly and with ease. To say that there
are not ups and downs, though, would be describing something
other than life.
I’m passionate about keeping things simple. That’s The Stark Distinction. Whether I’m connecting budget-conscious clients
with the professional resources needed for home or office renovation, or design and architecture, my goal is to help you make informed decisions about the process as well as the professionals that you're hiring to do the work. Maybe it’s pre-sale staging, organizing, repairs, decluttering or estate liquidation that you're looking for. Whatever the situation, I’m committed to providing personalized, cost-effective solutions that have a lasting and easy impact.
Background
With more than 25 years of combined experience in Interior Design, General Contracting and Project Management, I’ve developed a broad knowledge base along trusted relationships across those industries. I’ve worked in residential, commercial, and industrial spaces delivering projects on-budget and on-time. I think my success has been due largely to my ability to integrate research, analysis, cost and creativity to the client’s satisfaction. That’s The Stark Distinction.
Being a Mom and a Manager
Being a single mom and a solo business owner, though demanding, is a profoundly rewarding experience for me. From the moment that Sarah, my now 21-year-old daughter, and I entered one another’s life, she has added context, richness and meaning to my life. I can only hope that she will find the choices I’ve made about the life we’ve shared together affirming and foundational. We’ve faced the challenges of parenthood and entrepreneurship head-on as a family. It has brought us down a unique path that in some ways has defied societal expectations. And we’re still on this journey together.
